I’ve finished my Romana I costume and have added it to my portfolio!
I was really, really happy with how my Romana costume turned out.
I had expected to be “satisfied” with it – I wasn’t 100% sure about it before the con but figured it’d all be ok, so I was surprised to get it all on, and then see pictures – I’m really quite pleased with it.
I had to planned to do a photoshoot with K9 outside, but due to a mix-up we weren’t able to and just had to run down to the ML and take a few quick shots down there. So I was a bit disappointed about that – but I ended up loving these shots.
I mostly wore just the dress. I only wore the cape for the photoshoot because it was just TOO hot. I’m planning on taking it to GMX and hopefully it’s cool enough out it won’t be a problem wearing it for longer.
Best of all (besides being hot) it was super comfortable.
I did lose count how many times I got called Princess Leia, though, LOL.
